I first came to Silberfine Chiropractic Center in the fall of 2012. My friend Vicki kept talking about the benefits of Dr. Jeff's services.
In the Spring I had broken my arm and I work as a waitress. The stress of long hours on my feet, lifting heavy trays, carrying dishes and just walking the face of this earth for such a long time has taken it's toll on my body (especially my spine). I have never had great posture and didn't listen to my mom when she said to sit up straight either.
After the accident everything really got out of whack. I put so much stress on my body from continuing to work with a cast but, I had bills to pay. So, I went for a consultation. I really liked what Dr. Jeff had to say and it made sense. He presented the truth in a way that I could understand. The connection between what happens to the nerve endings when there is sublaxation (spinal column presses down on the nerves) they are unable to function properly an that it affects your whole body. This is a very remedial way of saying it but, that is how I remember it.
I was very nervous my first visit but Dr. Jeff put me totally at ease and when I left the office I noticed that I could breath better. I wasn't expecting that but it happened. I continue to come in for adjustments sometimes 3 or 4 times a week and it is one of the best investments in my health that I have ever made. I no longer need heavy pain medication that I was taking when I worked long days. I have more energy and less brain fog. My cigerette smoking is nearly gone which is a miracle in itself and I swim often a s part of my recovery.
